Ten minutes with Christina
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The greatest piece of advice would be to move on. As females we sort of all suffer from this habit of reliving and rehashing and wanting to fix and untangle things, and sometimes you just have to cut your line. I've really dove in on that in the last couple of years, and that has been really helpful in my business and in my personal life.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Absolutely do your due diligence in understanding the industry before joining it. Way too often, I see travel agents that have the passion for travel and think it's just fun and easy jump in and not be with somebody who supports them and not understand what's there and what's not, and it's really, really hard to change agencies and figure it out on the fly. If you do it before you join, you save yourself so much headache.
