Christina J. Schoemaker, MBA, CFRE

She is an accomplished advancement executive with over two decades of leadership experience in philanthropy, brand strategy, and organizational development across the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Advancement at Valley Youth House, a $50M+ regional human services agency, she leads all revenue generation, brand strategy, marketing, communications, and donor engagement efforts across 16 counties. As a member of the executive cabinet, she partners with the CEO and board to drive financial growth, organizational visibility, and mission alignment. She built the advancement department from the ground up, scaling operations and implementing systems to support strategic campaigns, grant development, and institutional giving. Notable achievements include leading a full agency rebrand, guiding a $25M endowment campaign, and overseeing capital planning for multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Major Gifts and Director of Annual Giving at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where she helped launch a multi-million-dollar campaign for a new Children's Emergency Room and led events raising over $1M annually. Her career also includes development leadership roles at Kutztown University and Lehigh University. She holds an MBA in Management and Marketing from DeSales University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Penn State University. She is recognized as a visionary, results-driven leader who combines strategic acumen with a deep commitment to mission-driven impact.
