Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, discipline, and a determination to create a life beyond where I started. I began my career as a medical assistant and grew into multi-site leadership through hard work, curiosity, and a commitment to evolving at every stage.

As a young mother raising three children—now 24, 19, and 18—I focused on building a stable career and becoming the kind of leader they could look up to. Now that they are older, I’ve returned to school to pursue my degree, proving that it is never too late to invest in your growth.

My journey reflects the values I live by: work hard, stay humble, and never stop learning. These values have shaped who I am as a leader and the example I aim to set for my children, my teams, and the women who come after me.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can achieve anything you commit yourself to — but bring others with you as you rise. Leadership is not defined by title; it is earned through humility, integrity, and a willingness to learn from everyone around you.

Staying teachable, grounded, and people-focused has guided every step of my journey and continues to influence how I lead today.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Trust your voice and believe in the value you bring. Healthcare is demanding, but it is full of opportunity for women who stay curious, ask questions, and are willing to grow through the challenges.

You don’t have to feel fully ready before stepping into leadership—confidence grows through experience. Advocate for yourself, take up space, and surround yourself with mentors who support and challenge you. Every step, even the uncomfortable ones, will build your strength and shape your leadership.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and greatest opportunities—in healthcare today is balancing leadership responsibilities with continuous personal and professional growth. I am currently pursuing my degree while managing multiple clinics, and this experience has shown me that growth is always possible with discipline and purpose.

Healthcare is evolving rapidly. The future belongs to leaders who stay adaptable, continue learning, and bring out the best in their teams. Those willing to grow alongside the industry will have the greatest impact.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Perseverance, integrity, and growth guide every part of my life. I believe in showing up fully—even when things are difficult—and pushing beyond limitations and expectations.

As a mother and as a leader, I strive to lead by example. My own journey has shown me that resilience and consistent effort can change the trajectory of your future. Whether at work, at home, or in my education, I am committed to becoming a better version of myself and helping others do the same.
