Christina Vaughan

I've been in multifamily property management for 22 years, starting as a leasing professional while still in high school. A friend working in the industry called me one day when I was working at a daycare part-time and asked if I'd like to lease apartments. I said sure, even though I didn't really know what that meant, but I took the opportunity and worked my way up from there to assistant manager and then property manager. I worked on several different communities with different management companies over the years. In 2020, I decided to shift from being on-site to supporting properties as a vendor in a sales role, which I've been doing for 6 years now. My typical day involves wearing many different hats - prospecting new customers, maintaining current customer relationships, supporting them in whatever way they need when it comes to their on-site operations, and being involved with associations and philanthropy. I'd say my most notable professional achievement is building relationships with people and building a reputation for myself in the industry as someone they can trust and rely on, someone who will be there when they need it.
