Her Interview
Ten minutes with Christine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I'm a hound dog. I don't stop. No means try harder. That applies to business, politics, relationships.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Your job needs to be your hobby. It's whatever your passion is. Anybody can sit behind a desk and do whatever, but if your job is your hobby, that's when you'll be passionate about your work.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
No regrets. We all make mistakes. Don't let them define who you are. That's knowledge moving forward. Make new mistakes. Don't go on that list. You can't change it. You can only affect your future.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The economy. In politics it's the economy. We have a culture where young women get degrees that mean nothing and are buried in student loan debt. No accountability with universities. Find your passion instead of sinking everything into a degree that doesn't fill your soul.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
People come first. It's always about people. ... fighting over stuff and forget that people have to come first.
