Christine Chapman-Fierz is an education entrepreneur, admissions counselor, and writer with more than 35 years of experience guiding students and families through pivotal academic and life transitions. As the founder of Chapman Education, LLC, she provides personalized private school, college, and graduate admissions counseling, along with life coaching, to clients across the U.S. and internationally. Her work is rooted in the belief that every learner deserves thoughtful guidance, practical tools, and a clear sense of possibility—regardless of background or circumstance. In 2020, Christine co-founded The College Axis Project, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality college counseling for students from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Through a hybrid model combining scholarships and fee-based services, the organization spent four years broadening access to admissions support nationwide.

Increasingly, Christine’s focus has shifted toward scalable, student-centered solutions at the intersection of education and technology. As a co-founder of Educational Edge AI, she is actively exploring how digital platforms can deliver personalized guidance at scale and improve outcomes across the admissions landscape. Christine is also the co-creator and co-host of The Zero Hour Podcast, where she examines transformative life moments and the stories that shape who we become.

A Harvard University alumna and lifelong learner, she brings a reflective, human-centered lens to her work as both an educator and a writer on parenting, education, and reinvention. Outside of her professional life, Christine is a proud mother of two teens, a certified 500-hour yoga teacher, a singer, writer, and devoted lover of nature and the arts. She welcomes collaboration with educators, edtech innovators, and advocates who share her commitment to equity, access, and to the transformative power of education and showing up fully with a commitment of being your best, most empowered version of yourself.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this field to trust their instincts and stay open to the many versions of themselves they’ll discover along the way. College access matters, and there are many paths to success—including non-traditional routes like community college. Most importantly, speak up, use your voice, and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and others.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life center on growth, integrity, and creativity. I’m deeply committed to thoughtful, purposeful work—whether that’s guiding students through educational transitions or expressing ideas through writing. I’m passionate about projects that inspire learning and reflection, from my Chapman Education Manifesto on balanced college counseling to personal writing like What We Earn and essays on my Substack, all of which reflect my belief in the power of hard work, honesty, and continuous personal and professional development.
