About Christine
I am a communications executive currently serving as Vice President of Communications at CEDIA, a role I've held since August 2022, working remotely from Fishers, Indiana. At CEDIA, I lead the development and execution of a global public relations and communications strategy to position the association and its leadership at the forefront of the smart home industry. I partner closely with the Global President and CEO to shape and deliver our strategic vision to diverse audiences worldwide.
My role centers on enhancing CEDIA's reputation and brand through a comprehensive PR plan spanning industry, consumer, and trade channels. I oversee media relations, including pitching CEDIA leaders as trusted experts across TV, print, online, and social platforms to maintain our relevance and authority. I am an active member of CEDIA's Executive Leadership Team, collaborating cross-functionally and engaging directly with our Board. I also provide leadership to the Meetings & Events team and work with our marketing department to align messaging into a cohesive, compelling narrative.
Before joining CEDIA, I served as Vice President at Actual Agency (a Millwright Agency) for just over a year, where I led daily operations leveraging storytelling and media activation, resulting in a 20% increase in client engagement. I also coached and supported messaging development, leading to a 15% improvement in client satisfaction and a 10% increase in client retention.
Prior to that, I spent over three years at Conner Prairie in Fishers, Indiana, first as Communications and Social Media Specialist and then as Director of Public Affairs. As Director, I developed and executed integrated communications products including website, print publications, newsletters, online communications, and media relations. I attained 419 pieces of PR coverage for the museum, managing 915 million in online readership and 32,200 social shares from outlets that covered us.
Earlier in my career, I spent two years as a Social Content Producer at CBS Interactive in Los Angeles, where I implemented social media strategies for shows including The Young & The Restless, The Bold & The Beautiful, The Price Is Right, and Let's Make A Deal. I also worked as a Social Media Producer and Manager at Smiletime on a contract basis, handling productions including Flash, Arrow, and The 100.
Across my entire career—whether in association leadership, agency work, museum public affairs, or entertainment social media—I bring the same focus: strategic, high-impact communications that strengthen brands, engage audiences, and deliver measurable results. I believe great communications tell a story that matters, and I've spent my career making sure those stories are heard.
