About Christine
Christine Grogan is a senior healthcare executive and commercial leader with over 30 years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales, business development, and organizational leadership within the medical device industry. Based in San Antonio, Texas, she recently left her position as Chief Commercial Officer at a prominent wound care company to found and serve as CEO of Nova Medical, a new wound care company focused on bringing products back to basics through close collaboration with physicians. Her career path includes starting as a sales representative and advancing through roles at Pfizer headquarters in New York City and at Allergan, where she worked on products including Botox and breast implants. She holds a doctorate and three master's degrees. Grogan is also the founder of the Brave coalition, which provides breast restoration advocacy and education, and she has engaged in significant philanthropic work including initiatives in Africa. She has received recognition including the Women We Admire Top 50 Women in San Antonio, awards from Pfizer, and philanthropic awards. She attributes her success to persistence, integrity, and advocating for women in male-dominated corporate environments.

01What do you attribute your success to?
As a female in the corporate world, success comes from never giving up, maintaining integrity and persistence through tough times. I had to deal with being the only C-suite female in a male-dominated environment, facing challenges like being laid off while others stayed, but I dusted myself off and started my own company. It's about standing up for yourself, promoting women fairly, and doing the right thing even when no one's looking.
