Christine Harper is a seasoned Quality Control Inspector at Spirit Airlines with over 28 years of experience in the aviation industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to airline safety, ensuring that every aircraft she works on meets the highest standards. Chris’s passion for her work is evident in the memorable moments she’s shared on the job, from receiving a standing ovation for replacing a smoke detector in a cargo pit to easing a young passenger’s worries during an in-flight repair. Her technical expertise spans a wide range of systems, including hydraulics, electrical, flight controls, and airframes across aircraft such as MD80s, 757s, and the Airbus 320 Series.

Before her current role, Chris served as Operations Manager at Certified Aviation Services, where she led a team of 15-20 mechanics performing line maintenance and aircraft repairs. She excelled at coordinating complex operations, allocating tasks efficiently, and mentoring her team to find their own passion in aviation. Earlier in her career, she honed her technical skills as an Aircraft Mechanic at Allegiant Airlines and as a Mechanic at General Dynamics OTS Aerospace, gaining extensive experience in troubleshooting and repairing multiple aircraft systems, as well as performing major maintenance checks.

Chris’s dedication extends beyond her professional responsibilities. She holds certificates from Allegiant Airlines University in Airbus A320 Family General Familiarization and from the US Army in Aviation Life Support Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the world of sci-fi, and supporting animal rescue initiatives through FUPI. Known for her expertise, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to safety, Chris continues to inspire her colleagues and elevate the standards of the aviation industry.
