Christine Miller is a Managing Senior Litigation Paralegal with more than 34 years of experience in the legal profession, specializing in insurance defense litigation. Since entering the legal field in 1992, she has built extensive expertise in litigation support, trial preparation, discovery management, medical records review, legal drafting, and court filings. For more than two decades, she has served at Winner & Booze in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she provides comprehensive support throughout all phases of complex litigation while supervising support staff and assisting attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. Inspired by her father, who was an attorney and gave her her first opportunity in the legal field, Christine developed an early passion for law and has remained dedicated to the profession throughout her career. She earned a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1994 and later completed a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Phoenix in 2010, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. Her dedication has been recognized with the Las Vegas Legal Secretaries Association Board Treasurer Award, reflecting both her leadership and contributions to the legal community. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Christine is committed to giving back through her support of the Southern Beagle Rescue Foundation and by serving as a sponsor within a 12-step recovery program. She is especially proud of maintaining her sobriety since 1995 and of continually investing in her education and personal growth. 01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for the legal profession. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuously improving my knowledge and skills while approaching every responsibility with professionalism and perseverance. My passion for the work has kept me motivated to grow, take on new challenges, and consistently provide the highest level of support to the attorneys and clients I serve.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received came from my father, who encouraged me to follow my dreams, never give up, and pursue the career that would truly fulfill me. His guidance taught me that persistence, determination, and believing in myself are essential to building a meaningful and successful career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women entering the legal profession to never give up on their goals. Continue working hard, remain passionate about what you do, and stay committed to learning and growing throughout your career. Your dedication and work ethic will speak louder than words, and consistently demonstrating your commitment is one of the best ways to create opportunities for advancement.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges facing the legal profession today is finding qualified, dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence. At the same time, there are tremendous opportunities for individuals who are willing to work hard, learn the profession, and demonstrate initiative. By earning trust through consistent performance and a strong work ethic, professionals can build rewarding long-term careers within the legal field.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide my professional and personal life are effective communication, hard work, gratitude, and self-compassion. I believe communication is the foundation of every successful relationship, and I strive to never take opportunities for granted. I also believe it is important to appreciate each moment, extend grace to yourself, and recognize that personal growth comes from balancing ambition with kindness toward yourself.
