About Christine
Christine (Crocker) Minter is a Senior Project Engineer at McCownGordon Construction, bringing over a decade of experience in the construction industry. Her career began with a strong foundation in drafting and design, ignited by high school courses that led her to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration in Construction Management from Missouri State University. During her studies, she developed expertise in project management, teamwork, and technical construction skills, gaining early experience in healthcare construction projects that demanded precision, coordination, and adherence to strict regulatory standards.
To expand her leadership and strategic abilities, Christine earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, complementing her technical knowledge with advanced business acumen. At McCownGordon Construction, she has progressed from Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer, leading complex projects from conception through completion. She manages budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and stakeholder communication, delivering projects that meet both client expectations and rigorous industry standards. Her work includes notable projects such as new church construction and extensive remodeling initiatives, where she balances technical oversight with collaborative leadership.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Christine is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of construction professionals and advocating for women in the field. She actively contributes to community projects through Habitat for Humanity and judges student competitions for the Associated Schools of Construction. Christine is also pursuing her Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) credential and plans to join the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) to deepen her expertise in healthcare construction. A mother of two, she enjoys ballroom dancing, mountain biking, and fostering a culture of learning, empowerment, and confidence—principles that she believes are essential to success in construction and leadership.
