Q

What do you attribute your success to?

Christine attributes her success to her ability to listen, ask the right questions, and approach quality as a collaborative, improvement-driven function rather than an obstacle. She focuses on understanding processes deeply and working alongside teams to create sustainable, efficient systems. Her adaptability across industries and her analytical approach to problem-solving have been key drivers of her impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“Listen more than you speak, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.”
Christine emphasizes that understanding the “why” behind processes is far more valuable than simply following procedures.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t feel pressured to follow a traditional or linear career path. Stay curious, ask questions, and explore different industries—skills in quality are highly transferable and in demand. Christine also encourages women to step confidently into STEM roles, highlighting the strong career growth and earning potential in the field.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is gaining executive buy-in for quality systems and AI-driven process improvements. Many organizations underestimate the ROI, despite potential returns of 40–80%.

However, this also presents a major opportunity: organizations that embrace data-driven quality systems and AI integration can significantly reduce costs, improve efficiency, and gain a competitive edge. Christine actively bridges this gap by translating technical value into clear business outcomes.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, continuous improvement, curiosity, and empathy are central to Christine’s values. Professionally, she believes in transparency and accountability within systems and teams. Personally, she values connection and compassion—reflected in her support for literacy initiatives and her care for animals, including fostering stray kittens.
