Christine Schwitzer

I am a grant writing strategist and nonprofit consultant with over a decade of experience helping mission-driven organizations secure the funding they need to thrive. As the Founder and CEO of Holistic Grants, which I established in 2019, my team and I partner with high-impact nonprofits to navigate the complexities of grant funding and build programs that raise sustainable funds.

My path to Holistic Grants was shaped by diverse career experiences in the nonprofit and public service sectors. Before launching my own firm, I served as Director of Development and Communications at YouthLink, a Minneapolis nonprofit supporting youth experiencing homelessness. While at YouthLink, I led all fundraising and communications efforts, completed a successful $6 million capital campaign, and generated $1.7 million in annual revenue. I began my career at PBS in Washington, D.C. where I managed grants, board affairs, and donor relations at the PBS Foundation, as well as time as a Legal Assistant at Wiltshire & Grannis LLP. Those early experiences sharpened my research, writing, and analytical skills in ways that continue to inform my work today.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Communications and Law and Society from American University, and I am certified in Grant Skills Essentials from The Grantsmanship Center.

I see grant writing as a tool to connect community-driven leaders and solutions to wealth through grants. My sweet spot is helping visionaries and change-makers tell their story, quantify their impact, and raise more money through grants. I'm proud of what I've built at Holistic Grants and am excited to keep helping nonprofits secure the resources they deserve.
