Christy Burt

Christy Burt serves as Executive Support Manager for a hospice provider covering the entire state of Ohio, where she supports three office locations and collaborates with clinical, billing, business, and operations teams on a daily basis. Her 20-year healthcare career began as a unit clerk in a hospital, progressed to the trauma team, then to a private oncology clinic handling Medicare programs, before she transitioned to hospice eight years ago and discovered her true passion in the field. She has earned an associates degree, a bachelors degree, and a masters degree within the last year, and is now working toward a doctorate in health administration. In addition to her full-time role, Christy volunteers after hours with hospice patients and aspires to advance into a statewide director-level position where she can mentor others and apply her skills and education more broadly.
