Christi Flis is a dynamic and multifaceted leader, artist, and educator whose career spans the worlds of technology, music, education, and wellness. As a founding leader at Zoom, Christi built the company’s education vertical from the ground up, helping educational institutions and organizations around the globe adopt innovative, accessible solutions for remote and hybrid learning. She also founded Women at Zoom, the company’s first employee resource group, where she fostered a culture of support, inclusion, and empowerment for women across the organization. With expertise across diverse fields—including sales, marketing, healthcare, performing arts, and edtech—Christi’s impact has been both far-reaching and deeply human-centered.

In 2023, Christi transitioned her focus toward her creative passions and launched her music career with her debut single, “Can’t Do This Pretty,” while also continuing her work as a public speaker and advisor in education and AI ethics. As a singer-songwriter, Reiki practitioner, and advocate for lifelong learning, she blends artistry and empathy to inspire transformation in both individuals and communities. Now serving as a Senior Advisor at BoodleBox, a collaborative GenAI platform for higher education, Christi is guiding the next wave of responsible AI integration in learning environments. Whether on stage or in the boardroom, she remains dedicated to her mission: to make the world brighter—one story, song, and conversation at a time.

I attribute my success to my unwavering dedication and love for what I do—whether it's being a singer-songwriter, public speaker, or motivator. My curiosity has made me a lifelong learner, and it's that constant drive to grow and evolve that has opened doors throughout my journey.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to shoot for success, trust your instincts, and never stop chasing your dreams.

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the chance to innovate and grow with emerging technologies—and I'm always working hard to be the next big thing.
