Her Story
About Christy
I've been in the customer service field for about 25 years, and it's been an awesome journey. My very first entry into this field was at a job called Accent, which was actually contracted for Sprint. I've been in this particular position for about 5 years now. In a typical day, I'm basically answering questions and concerns that customers have, addressing any complexity to their accounts and platforms, and being able to navigate them through and show them how to work and navigate their systems. I handle any complaints, de-escalate those situations, problem solve, and of course, update everything with accuracy. One of my most notable professional achievements was being able to make manager within a month by meeting my quotas. I'm also currently at the door of my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Colorado Technical University. I started late in life, but I did that because it's never too late, and I encourage everyone, including my children, that it's never too late to achieve and accomplish things. I have obtained a 4.0 GPA the entire time and I am on the National Honor Society. I just made the President's List, and in a few months, I'll be walking across the stage.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Growth is extremely important to me, which is why I love gardening so much. I correlate that in life too - helping my children grow, helping those around me grow. I believe it's never too late to achieve and accomplish things, which is why I started my degree late in life. I encourage everyone, including my children, that it's never too late. Networking is also important to me - surrounding yourself with others with like minds can absolutely open some doors, and we can learn from each other. Having that support and background is important.
