Her Interview
Ten minutes with Chrystina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong drive to continually grow, learn, and be better than I was yesterday. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have mentors who challenged me, believed in me, and helped shape the professional I am today. Their guidance taught me the value of staying curious, embracing challenges, and never putting limitations on what I can accomplish.
I also believe that maintaining a positive mindset has played an important role in my success. I approach each opportunity with the belief that there is always something new to learn and a way to grow from every experience. Just as important to me is giving back and paying it forward. I believe success is even more meaningful when you can share your knowledge, support others, and help someone else see their own potential.
Ultimately, my motivation comes from within. I want to continue challenging myself, creating opportunities for growth, and making a positive impact on the people and industry around me.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the data center industry is simple: don’t be afraid to take up space and don’t put limitations on yourself. This is a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, and there is tremendous opportunity for women who are willing to learn, ask questions, and embrace new challenges.
You don’t have to know everything when you start. Be curious, seek out mentors, learn from the people around you, and never be afraid to ask questions. Build strong relationships and make your voice heard. Your perspective, experience, and ideas have value.
I would also encourage young women to continue investing in themselves through education, professional development, and new experiences. Find people who will challenge you and support your growth, and when you reach a point where you can help someone else, pay it forward.
Most importantly, believe in your ability to succeed. You don’t have to follow someone else’s path. Create your own, continue growing, and never let someone else’s perception of what you can accomplish become your limitation.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, professionalism, and a positive mindset are the values that guide both my work and personal life. I believe in treating people with respect, being authentic and transparent in my relationships, and creating an environment where people feel supported and valued.
I also believe in leading with gratitude, accountability, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Challenges are inevitable, but how we respond to them can make all the difference. I strive to approach each situation as an opportunity to learn, grow, and find a path forward.
Most importantly, I value meaningful relationships and the opportunity to make a positive impact. Whether I am working with clients, colleagues, or members of my professional community, I believe in building trust, sharing knowledge, supporting others, and leaving people and organizations better than I found them.
