Chyna Scott

I've had a diverse career path that has taken me through corporate America and various roles in HR, events, and restaurant management. My journey hasn't always been easy. I was pursuing my education at the Art Institute, but my grant was taken away due to some institutional issues that eventually led to the school going down for foul play. Despite that setback, I kept pushing forward and finished out all my other educational programs. I was determined to complete my education even while working and caring for a newborn, which meant taking classes when I was exhausted. Now I'm in a completely new chapter of my life. I just turned 40, I'm an empty nester, and I'm single. Everything has shifted, and I'm looking for my purpose in my 40s. I'm so used to taking care of people and doing all these things, and now I'm asking myself, what do I do? I'm a busybody and I have to do something every day. I don't want to stay stagnant or waste these years when I could be doing something really positive. I've been doing a lot of research and looking for people, especially women, that I can connect with who are on the same page and have some of the same goals in life.
