Her Interview
Ten minutes with Ciara
01What do you attribute your success to?
I pride myself on giving my kids a better life than I had. I don't want them to be a statistic because I'm a single mom. I want them to be as normal as possible and allow them to understand that no matter what you do, as long as you put forth the effort and put in the hard work, you can become anybody you want to be. Education is key.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never give up. Keep pushing. Never give up.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Push through, no matter what. Always have someone to talk to if you can, and get you through even when the times get hard. It has not been easy for me, I've cried a lot, you know, but I continue to push through because I know this is my heart, you know, God put this on my heart for me to continue to do and to be successful, and I enjoy helping people.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, giving your best, loyalty, trying your hardest, never give up.
