Ciara Zuyus

Ciara Zuyus serves in project management within the renewable energy industry in Simi Valley, California. She previously spent 14 years running operations at a big box retailer before making a serendipitous career pivot. She joined her current organization at the base level, accepted a pay cut, and earned a promotion within seven months followed by another six months later. In her role, she runs operations for one of the largest rebate programs at a major utility, assisting low-income and disadvantaged families with electrical panel upgrades to support electric vehicle infrastructure and reduce fire risks in their homes. Beyond operations, she emphasizes thought leadership by fostering an environment where team members recognize their value, preventing burnout in a remote setting, and tailoring tasks to individual strengths. Ciara recently launched an NPO centered on paying it forward and reminding people who feel unseen that they matter.
