About Ciera
Ciera Nickel is the Founder of Co/Creation Events Studio, a full-service event planning agency specializing in corporate events, brand activations, and meaningful social celebrations throughout Southern California. With a background spanning event production, experiential marketing, luxury hospitality, travel, dining-focused public relations, and brand storytelling, Ciera brings a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and relationship-building to every experience she creates. Her approach centers on collaboration, thoughtful details, and designing events that reflect each client’s unique story. Before launching Co/Creation Events Studio, Ciera built a decade-long career in New York across public relations, communications, and hospitality. She worked with leading agencies supporting global travel, lifestyle, and luxury brands, including campaigns for Chase Sapphire, The Infatuation, Hyatt, and other high-end hospitality clients. One of her most notable achievements was her work on Chase Sapphire’s Sundance Film Festival activation, where she helped coordinate media efforts and brand experiences alongside Chef Melissa King. Her transition into event planning was strengthened through her role at Warren Street Hotel, a Michelin Key property in Manhattan, where she produced a wide range of events including corporate gatherings, brand launches, weddings, and private celebrations. Ciera earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University with dual degrees in Public Relations and Global Studies, along with minors in Integrated Media and Geography. She later pursued graduate coursework in childhood education and special education at Hunter College. Guided by a passion for community, hospitality, and authentic storytelling, Ciera combines her communications expertise with her event production skills to create memorable experiences that connect people and brands. Through Co/Creation Events Studio, she continues to build a career focused on creativity, connection, and bringing meaningful moments to life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance of strong mentors, hands-on experience in events and public relations, and my willingness to embrace new opportunities that align with my strengths in storytelling, communication, and hosting.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are education, human rights, community involvement, and authentic storytelling. I believe in the power of learning, advocating for others, staying connected to my community, and sharing stories that create understanding and meaningful impact.
