Cindy Luna

Cindy Luna has spent over 13 years in her field, beginning with work in telenovelas and Spanish-language soap operas in Miami. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she built a career in front of the camera through numerous television shows and series across multiple studios and networks. Her notable achievement includes securing a series regular role as a detective on a production for NBC and Universal. Transitioning behind the camera, she now produces and directs an international documentary called From Traffic to Triumph, which explores the stories of women who have overcome human trafficking. The project features accounts from survivors across Asia, South America, the United States, and Eastern Europe. She also works as a creative director for various companies. In 2017, her passion for this cause was sparked by encounters with a nonprofit supporting rescued children in Mexico. For her efforts, she was honored with the Premio de la Libertad, or Award of Freedom.
