Cindy Perkins

Cindy Perkins is the Director of Development for the Bay Area Chorus of Greater Houston, a nonprofit arts organization, where she is entering her second year. In this role, she focuses on fundraising, grant opportunities, collaborations with Houston area philanthropies, and community partnerships to support the organization's growth. Perkins draws on her extensive background as a performer and music director for community theater and churches, along with years as a choir member, to inform her work in development and promotion. She is preparing for potential advancement to executive director by gaining leadership experience and has initiated projects such as the chorus performing the national anthem at a Houston Astros game. Perkins also engages with the local Chamber of Commerce for networking, training, and professional development opportunities that benefit her nonprofit work.
