Cindy Price
Cindy Price is an experienced healthcare simulation strategist and independent consultant who has spent more than two decades advancing patient safety, clinical education, and workforce readiness. A nurse since 1999, Cindy began her career in critical care as a cardiovascular ICU nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, later working as a travel nurse across the United States. Her early clinical experience laid the foundation for her transition into medical simulation in 2005, where she combined frontline insight with a passion for education and advocacy.
Cindy’s work centers on simulation-based education as a tool for improving outcomes, strengthening teams, and empowering clinicians to understand the “why” behind practice standards. Over the years, she has designed and led comprehensive simulation programs for hospitals and universities, developed faculty training and accreditation support, and built curricula grounded in evidence-based practice and fairness. Her philosophy is rooted in service, faith-driven leadership, and the belief that education can transform workplace culture and elevate patient care.
In 2025, Cindy launched her own consultancy, Simulation Strategist LLC, after years of in-house and academic leadership roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from AdventHealth University and a master’s degree in medical and healthcare simulation from Drexel University. Beyond her professional work, Cindy is active in volunteer initiatives, including therapy dog programs and collaborations with community organizations, reflecting her commitment to compassion, advocacy, and service both inside and outside the healthcare system.
