Her Story
About Cindy
I work at Everlaw, which is an e-discovery platform where litigation, case systems, and case information is stored. A lot of lawyers and people in the legal field use it, and we sell that product. I do the administrative work of the job, which means I keep the office clean, take phone calls, plan events, and collaborate with other departments to ensure everyone has a better experience there. On a typical day, I'll be getting in and there might be someone coming into the office that's new, like a new employee, so I would set up their desk and give them access to the building, then give them a quick tour of the office. Then I'll meet with my manager and we would talk about the budget sheet and go over that, making sure I am within the budget. After that, I would be meeting up with the rest of my team, facilities, and we would be talking about what we did over the week. This would look like ordering more snacks or giving updates of the upcoming fundraisers or the events that we're hosting for our office. Some of us are working in other offices - some are in the London location, some in the DC location, some in the New York location, and some in the California location. I've been in this job for almost a year now. I graduated in 2024 with my bachelor's in public health from Tulsa University, and I'm first generation, so that is a really big accomplishment for me. Looking ahead, I want to become a project manager. I do have a background in health, so it would be ideal if I was a project manager for something health-related, or a project coordinator for something in health.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think being consistent, being ambitious, and being open are my strongest skills and what's most important to me. I'm very open to new experiences. I don't like to say no, and I'm always trying to do better than what I did yesterday. I'm just always trying to improve myself.
