About Claire
I graduated with an accounting degree from Mississippi State but after interning at KPMG realized it wasn't the right fit. I stayed to get a business admin degree and then joined Summit Media in sales. I hit it off with my boss and within a year or two became one of the top billers by hustling to find accounts. What I'm most proud of are the deep client relationships I've built over 7 years, where clients invite me to family events.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and consistency, along with a really good support group including my boss who believes in me, parents who raised me right, and friends who are there when I'm overwhelmed. I never give up and stay persistent, like making that one more call.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering adulthood not to ever give up because it's going to be okay even if it looks confusing right now. The world is your oyster and you can do anything you set your mind to, whether changing careers or moving somewhere new. Embrace it all because you're going to shine.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is figuring out how to do it all because there's so much opportunity that I sometimes get stretched too thin trying to be that person for everybody and meet raised expectations.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty is really big for me, doing what you say you're going to do. I also want to live like Jesus did by loving people and leaving someone's day better, making them feel loved, appreciated, and sparkly about themselves.
