About Claire
Claire Bishop serves as Senior Area Business Manager at Galderma, where she has worked in the aesthetics industry since 2022. Based in Washington, DC, she focuses on leadership and strategic selling. Bishop earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Computer Science from the University of Alabama. She is actively involved with HBA and the Junior League of Washington, and volunteers with the Martin's Kids tutoring program in Ward 7 of Washington, DC. Bishop attributes her success to determination and not taking no for an answer. She values leading with integrity, noting that the right thing to do is most likely not the easiest. The best career advice I've ever received is that it's never too late and to follow your passion.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Control what you can control.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The industry is very fast-growing with regulations that have not caught up to trends, and social media presence is a challenge. Opportunities include the rapid pace of growth and change in a field of medicine that didn't exist 5 years ago, allowing for capturing new patients, new treatments, and new ways of treating patients.

Leading with integrity and knowing that the right thing to do is most likely not the easiest.
