Her Story
About Claire
I originally worked in the medical field, and that soon translated into me being around the younger generation. I ended up becoming a secretary to the assistant principals in a junior high school, and then from there became a union leader and an executive assistant to a private CEO. I've been in my field for roughly 10 years so far. In my current role, I manage different calendars for two administrators as well as a CEO in a different job. I do a lot of front-facing work with the public, answering any questions people have and trying to be a voice to the public for staff in my school district and students in general. My most notable professional achievement is becoming a union president as a woman for over 200 school support staff, as well as being featured in NYSUT United, a magazine for New York State United Teachers, for my leadership in that career.
