About Claire

Claire Jegle serves as a Practice Onboarding Partner in the finance industry, a role she began in May after transitioning from a contract position as a security operations representative at Wells Fargo. Her career path started in pharmacy and claims processing before entering finance in 2022. She earned a bachelor's degree in liberal studies with majors in business administration and psychology, beginning her studies at UCM and completing them at UMSL in St. Louis. Claire values organization, consistency, and building relationships through networking and in-person collaboration, preferring office environments over fully remote work. She attributes her success to a drive for a brighter future and credits advice from her former manager Sam Adams at Lumeris to know her worth and continuously challenge herself. Claire advises young women entering the field to always believe in themselves, noting that their potential is unlimited.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Claire

01What do you attribute your success to?

I'd say just wanting to be better than some other things in my environment, you know? Wanting to have a brighter future than things that I've seen around me in the world.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice that I ever got was from a manager, my manager at Lumeris, her name was Sam Adams. She said, don't stay at the same place, in the same position, for the same pay, for too long. Kind of just know your worth, and always be challenging yourself, and looking to build yourself up. Not necessarily always leaving the same place, but if you feel like you're hitting a wall, find new outlooks or doors to open.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Always believe in yourself, and the potential that you have is unlimited.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I'd just say interacting with people that don't share those same values, and just trying to find ways to work around it, and stay positive through those difficult communication rough patches, but always figure that out. I have those positive attitudes and I'm looking to be a team member and build myself and others up.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

A big thing is just organization, consistency. I like just being outgoing, and where I go, being around people, interacting with people, networking, whether that's building relationships for work or just building relationships on a personal level. I didn't like fully remote environment as much as being in the office, being around people, engaging with others.
