Claire Pywell, CFP®, is a financial advisor at Highline Advisors, where she helps successful women and their families simplify money, align priorities, and reclaim time. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, she partners with clients to create holistic financial plans that reflect their goals, values, and the lives they aspire to lead. Her approach focuses not only on investments and spreadsheets but also on creating clarity and confidence so that clients can spend their time on what matters most—their careers, families, and personal passions.
Before becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Claire built her career in public policy and communications, working with elected officials, private sector executives, and non-profits to solve complex challenges and implement meaningful change. This experience honed her skills in strategic planning, problem solving, and relationship building—capabilities she now applies to financial planning to help clients navigate life’s uncertainties with confidence and clarity. She has also managed large-scale campaigns, advised municipal leaders, and directed communications for state agencies, giving her a unique perspective on leadership, collaboration, and strategy.
Claire is actively engaged in her community, volunteering with the Anchorage Downtown Rotary and the American Red Cross, and serving on advisory councils for conservation organizations. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Politics and Policy from the University of Maryland, with additional studies in sustainable development at the University of Canterbury. Known for her honesty, transparency, and dedication to helping others, Claire combines technical expertise with empathy and a collaborative approach, guiding clients toward financial clarity and peace of mind.
