About Claire
Claire Robson is an English and Theater teacher at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, California. She began her career in 2011 through Teach for America, where she was selected from over 48,000 applicants and placed at a school in Watts, California, teaching full-time 8th grade while earning her credential. After two years, she transitioned to high school teaching at Green Dot Charter Schools in Los Angeles and Venice before moving back to the Bay Area. At Wilcox High School, she teaches 9th grade English to honors and on-level students, serves as the sole theater teacher running the after-school program with two productions annually, and leads the English department. She holds a Master's in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University, funded through Teach for America. Robson is passionate about improving the public education system and aspires to transition into a higher position to drive systemic change.
