Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my commitment to helping other artists grow and succeed, particularly women in the industry. I believe strongly in creating opportunities for others and supporting artists as they develop their voices and careers. Early in my journey, I experienced a difficult contract situation that taught me the importance of understanding the legal and business side of the entertainment industry. That experience pushed me to educate myself about contracts, rights, and intellectual property so I would not have to rely entirely on attorneys and could better protect both myself and the artists I work with.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to educate yourself about the business side of the industry from the very beginning. Take the time to understand contracts, copyright laws, and the paperwork involved in protecting your work. It is equally important to support other women and build strong networks that uplift one another. Most importantly, stand firm in your values and do not tolerate abuse, exploitation, or being pushed aside for refusing unethical behavior. Protect your rights and your integrity at all times.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the entertainment industry today is dealing with issues such as jealousy, exploitation, and the unauthorized use of music, trademarks, and creative work. These situations can damage artists’ careers and reputations if they are not addressed properly. I am currently involved in legal efforts to reclaim certain rights and ensure that my work is protected. At the same time, I see exciting opportunities ahead, particularly in developing a foundation that combines music, sports, and behavioral health programs. My goal is to create initiatives that help individuals transition back into society and use creative arts as a tool for personal growth and development.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me most are honesty, respect, equality, and strong personal integrity. I believe in being straightforward and maintaining traditional standards of professionalism and conduct. I have zero tolerance for disrespect or abusive behavior, and I am deeply committed to protecting people’s reputations, financial well-being, and emotional health. These principles shape how I work with others and how I approach every project and partnership in my career.
