Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith and commitment to prayer, which grounds and guides me. I also rely on persistence and consistency, along with the discipline of using my voice with clarity and confidence. Self-affirmation has been important in maintaining my mindset and focus, and I stay organized by prioritizing effectively—often by tackling the most challenging tasks first.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my father, who always told me, “you can do anything,” which instilled in me a strong sense of confidence and possibility. I’ve also carried with me the practical lesson from Eat That Frog, which encourages tackling the most difficult and important tasks first, helping me stay focused, disciplined, and productive in my daily work.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to not let anything stand in the way of what you want to accomplish. There will be challenges, but it’s important to remember your worth, trust your abilities, and consistently affirm that you belong in the room. Don’t make yourself smaller to make others comfortable—take up space, use your voice, and stay true to your non-negotiables. I’ve learned that even when it’s uncomfortable at first, speaking up with confidence builds respect over time and ultimately creates greater impact for yourself and those around you.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is that operations leadership is still largely male-dominated, which can create barriers that silence women or limit their advancement. There is also the ongoing challenge of balancing the many responsibilities that come with being both an entrepreneur and a leader.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values in my work and personal life are my faith, discipline, and grace. I’m a Christian, and I begin and end my day with prayer, often seeking wisdom throughout the day as needed. I also try to give myself grace, recognizing that not every day will be perfect and that progress is still meaningful even when everything doesn’t get done. Organization and discipline are also key for me—I’ve learned to stay intentional and prioritize effectively, especially by tackling the hardest tasks first, a principle I took from Eat That Frog, which has helped me stay focused and productive.
