About Clarissa
Clarissa Thames serves as a life coach and medical assistant in public health in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She began her coaching practice after obtaining her life coach certification from Coach Training Alliance on June 16, 2024, building on her associate's degree and public speaking certificate from college. As a domestic violence survivor, she founded The Empowered Journey to inspire women through one-on-one sessions, social media content, and a Facebook group, helping them build confidence, strengthen self-worth, set healthy boundaries, and elevate their mindset and lifestyle. She is affiliated with the Future Rich Aunties group in her community and offers sessions at her local library every other Saturday as well as virtually.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would inspire her to go to do it. Don't think about it too long, because you give yourself the opportunity to not do it. You talk yourself out of it, and the thoughts of that you can't do will overcome your motivation of wanting to do. You should put it into action, because things that
cross our mind is in our heart to do.
