Her Interview

Ten minutes with Clarissa

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to God because without him, I wouldn't have made it this far. There has been times that I wanted to quit and I was able to rely on God to give me all the strength. I would attribute my success to my colleagues that I've worked with.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice is keep God first, don't settle for less, and chase after your dreams.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The best advice is to ask for help and ask questions. I didn't know anything about this industry so there is nothing wrong with reaching out to your co-workers to see if they can explain a concept to you.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

My biggest challenges is balancing all of my work and personal tasks. I'm currently a writer on Substack so I want to dedicate my days to writing while putting attention to work at the same time.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are curiosity, balance, and growth—which I express through my love for travel, reading, and staying active.
