Her Interview

Ten minutes with Claritza

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't take anything personal. I learned that I am replaceable anywhere and everywhere I go. So I don't take things personal. I learned to mediate and be the mediator in things rather than putting myself in the middle of things and taking it personal.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Are you sure you want to do this? Our personal lives do not... we don't share our personal lives with our clients in this field, however the way we live our life will show up in our career field. If we are disorganized at home, if we're disorganized or living in chaos, it's going to show in your sessions. Always take time to self-reflect. And I try to practice what I share with others.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I take each client very seriously. I review their notes, their symptoms. I take it very seriously, even outside of my work time. I value people's time. I like my own time, so self-care is big. I don't want to do anything that's going to cause me to stay awake at night.
