Claudia Ximena Salazar

My name is Claudia Salazar, and I’m proud to serve as the Executive Director of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians (AASCP). I was born in Colombia and came to the United States at the age of 17, carrying with me the strong family values that shaped my upbringing—compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to helping others.
For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my professional life to healthcare, primarily managing and administrating medical offices with a focus on public service and enhancing patient experiences. My career has always been rooted in empathy, precision, and a belief in the transformative power of medicine.
Four years ago, I was fortunate to cross paths with Dr. A.J. Farshchian, the founder and director of AASCP. His pioneering vision in Regenerative Medicine inspired me to join the Academy and help carry forward his legacy. Since then, I’ve been blessed to work alongside some of the most brilliant minds in the field—physicians, researchers, and innovators who are redefining the future of medicine.
At AASCP, we are a nonprofit organization committed to advancing education, research, and ethical practice in Regenerative Medicine. Through weekly webinars and two major scientific conferences each year, we provide a platform for professionals to share groundbreaking treatments, protocols, and clinical applications.
I truly believe Regenerative Medicine is the future—not just for healing, but for rejuvenation, prevention, and living with vitality. We’re entering an era where aging can be slowed, chronic conditions reversed, and quality of life dramatically improved. That’s the future I work toward every day.
Being recognized among the Most Influential Women is a profound honor, but for me, this work is far more than a title—it’s a mission. I’m deeply grateful to help lead this movement, amplify visionary voices, and champion the life-changing potential of Regenerative Medicine.
My commitment is to continue building bridges across disciplines, spreading awareness with integrity, and supporting the pioneers who are turning innovation into healing. Together, we’re not just advancing medicine—we’re redefining what it means to live a longer, healthier, and more vibrant life.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong foundation rooted in my morals, my cultural heritage, and an unwavering dedication to everything I pursue. My passion for growth and belief in the work I do have been driving forces throughout my journey. Above all, I’m deeply grateful for the unconditional support of my partner, family, friends, and co-workers—their encouragement has been instrumental every step of the way.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that a person’s title or position is far less important than the ideas they contribute and the knowledge they share. That insight has shaped how I approach collaboration and how I value every individual I work with. It’s taught me to focus on substance over status and to create spaces where everyone’s voice is respected and heard.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To young women entering the field of Regenerative Medicine and healthcare leadership: lead with conviction, compassion, and curiosity. This industry is evolving rapidly, and your voice, your perspective, and your dedication are needed more than ever. Don’t be afraid to take initiative, ask questions, and advocate for ethical innovation. Surround yourself with mentors who challenge and uplift you, and never underestimate the power of your cultural roots and personal values—they are your compass. Most importantly, believe deeply in the work you do and the impact you can make. Your presence in this space isn’t just valuable—it’s transformative.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in Regenerative Medicine today is navigating the balance between rapid innovation and ethical responsibility. As the field evolves, we face increasing pressure to ensure that therapies are not only effective but also safe, evidence-based, and accessible. Regulatory clarity, public education, and quality control remain critical hurdles—especially as more providers enter the space and global interest grows. At the same time, the opportunities are extraordinary. We’re witnessing breakthroughs in cellular therapies, tissue engineering, and personalized medicine that have the potential to redefine how we approach aging, chronic illness, and recovery. There’s also a growing appetite for collaboration across disciplines, which opens doors for integrative care models and global partnerships. For me, the most exciting opportunity is the chance to build a movement—one that’s rooted in science, compassion, and a shared commitment to healing.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me—both professionally and personally—are rooted in family, integrity, and compassion. I was raised in a household where respect, unity, and service to others were central, and those principles continue to shape every decision I make. In my work, I prioritize ethical leadership, collaboration, and a deep commitment to education and innovation. I believe in uplifting others, honoring legacy, and always staying true to the mission. Whether I’m coordinating a global conference or supporting a colleague, I lead with heart, purpose, and a belief that meaningful change begins with human connection.
