Her Story

About Claudia

Claudia Skeete’s entrepreneurial journey is rooted in faith, resilience and a determination to create opportunities beyond her circumstances. Her path began in the beauty and consumer-products industry when she founded Glow Up Szn Cosmetics in 2020. Through developing products, building a brand and connecting directly with customers, she gained firsthand experience in the challenges entrepreneurs face when transforming an idea into an operating business.

As her experience grew, Claudia recognized that many aspiring entrepreneurs possessed creativity and ambition but lacked the structure, strategy and practical guidance required to build sustainably. That realization led her to establish Glow Up Szn Business Solutions in 2024. Today, she helps aspiring and early-stage founders clarify their ideas, establish strong foundations and develop organized businesses through faith-centered strategy, practical education and automation-first systems.

Claudia is also building a broader entrepreneurial ecosystem that includes Glow Getters Academy, Glow Up Szn Marketplace, the Glow Up Szn Podcast and Network, and the Glow Getter Business Foundation Starter Kit. Her long-term vision is to expand access to trustworthy business education, create pathways to financial stability and equip women and overlooked entrepreneurs to become Kingdom wealth builders within their families and communities.

Before pursuing entrepreneurship, Claudia attended Medgar Evers College with an initial interest in nursing and later continued her studies at the University of Phoenix. Although her professional direction changed, her desire to serve and help others remained constant. That commitment now shapes her work as a consultant, educator and business builder.

Claudia’s story reflects her belief that difficult seasons do not cancel purpose. By stewarding what God placed in her hands and continuing to build through personal transitions and the demands of motherhood, she has transformed her experiences into practical resources that help others move forward with wisdom, confidence and structure.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Claudia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first to God. My faith has given me the strength to persevere, the wisdom to make difficult decisions and the confidence to keep building even when circumstances were not ideal. I also credit disciplined stewardship, resilience and a willingness to remain teachable. Every challenge has strengthened my ability to create practical solutions, serve others with integrity and turn vision into organized action. I have learned that lasting success is not simply about achieving more; it is about remaining faithful to the assignment, caring well for what God has entrusted to me and using my growth to help others move forward.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to stop waiting until I feel completely ready and begin stewarding what is already in my hands. Preparation is important, but clarity often comes through action. That advice taught me to start with the resources, knowledge and opportunities available to me, remain committed to excellence and build systems that can support where I am going—not only where I am today. It has shaped how I lead Glow Up Szn Business Solutions and how I encourage other entrepreneurs to move from inspiration to disciplined execution.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Build your foundation before chasing visibility. Learn how businesses actually operate, understand the people you are called to serve and become comfortable making decisions supported by both wisdom and evidence. Do not allow comparison, limited resources or an imperfect beginning to convince you that your vision is too small. Remain teachable, document your processes and protect your integrity as carefully as you protect your ideas. Most importantly, know that your circumstances do not determine the size of your calling. Start with what is in your hands, steward it well and allow consistent action to build your confidence.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest challenges in business consulting is the amount of fragmented and misleading information available to new entrepreneurs. Many people are encouraged to launch quickly without first understanding their customer, finances, operations or long-term strategy. At the same time, this creates an enormous opportunity to provide structured, trustworthy and accessible business education. Automation and artificial intelligence are also transforming the field, allowing consultants to deliver more personalized support at scale. The opportunity is not simply to use new technology, but to combine it with human discernment, ethical leadership and practical systems that produce measurable progress.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith, integrity, stewardship, family and service are the values that guide both my work and personal life. I believe every opportunity should be handled with prayer, wisdom and excellence. Integrity means remaining honest about what I can deliver and making decisions that protect the people who trust me. Stewardship means caring well for my time, resources, relationships and the vision God has entrusted to me. Family reminds me that success should create greater freedom and stability, not require sacrificing everything that matters. Service ensures that my growth is never only about me; it should equip others to build, prosper and create meaningful impact of their own.
