Claudia Valladares is a seasoned mortgage industry professional with a career spanning over a decade, beginning at Bank of America in California. There, she honed her foundational skills in mortgage servicing and underwriting, completing Bank of America’s intensive year-long SASE training program. The best career advice I’ve ever received came from Brisa Rodriguez, who not only supported my career growth and encouraged my leadership skills but also instilled in me the importance of mentoring other women in the corporate world.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the industry to cultivate both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills, to speak up confidently while being mindful of timing, and to seek out and learn from the guidance of supportive female leaders who can champion their growth.
