Her Story

About Coach Bulinda

Bulinda Wright serves as a ministry leader and life and purpose coach, a role she has held since 2014. She is also an accomplished speaker, podcast host of The Christ-Centered Single Podcast, author of about eight books, and event planner. Her podcast reaches women who are single, widowed, divorced, dating, or desiring marriage, covering Bible study teachings as well as discussions on mental health, toxic relationships, and Christian dating. Coach B began her event planning work with nonprofit organizations including the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association, and she continues to coordinate events for businesses and her own initiatives. She attributes her success to her faith in God, which helped her overcome personal challenges such as divorce, hurt, betrayal, and loss by choosing to rise up and press forward. Coach B emphasizes values of faith, connection with God, community through her local church, Bible study, worship, and women's fellowship, along with kindness, grace, empathy, compassion, and encouragement. She advises others to stay grounded in faith, avoid distraction from outside opinions, and take action without allowing fear to hold them back.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Coach Bulinda

01What do you attribute your success to?

My faith in God. I had two choices: lay down and stay down or get back up and press through knowing I already had the victory. I refused to lay down and die. I made myself get back up. Everything I owe to my faith.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Never let the outside chatter of other people's opinions keep you stuck. Keep focused forward. Stay focused and do not be distracted by opposition or jealousy.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Get connected to God in prayer. Let faith be your anchor. Fear is just false evidence appearing real. Do not allow it to stop you. Stay grounded in your faith and know that you can do anything you set your heart to. Faith takes action. Just do it and step out in faith. Make your own door if necessary.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith, connection with God, community through local church, Bible study, worship, and women's fellowship. Kindness, grace, empathy, compassion, and encouraging others without becoming bitter.
