What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Lead with compassion, stay curious, and never lose sight of your "why." Be confident in your voice, but also open to learning from those around you. This field will challenge you, grow you, and remind you daily of the power of empathy and perseverance. Stay true to your values - they'll guide you through every season of your career.

Some of the biggest challenges in healthcare today include:
Workforce shortages and burnout - especially among nurses, aides, and caregivers
Rising patient complexity - with aging populations and multiple chronic conditions
Access and equity - ensuring quality care reaches every community, regardless of income or location
Administrative burden - excessive documentation and regulatory demands that pull focus from patient care
Technology integration - balancing innovation with the human connection that defines healthcare
Financial pressures - navigating reimbursement challenges while maintaining quality and compassion
