About Cori
Cori Rizman is a senior pharmaceutical compliance and law-enforcement professional with over 20 years of experience in controlled-substance oversight, investigations, and regulatory compliance. She currently serves as Vice President of DEA Compliance at a dosage form manufacturer based in Long Island, New York. Her earlier 17-year career with the Drug Enforcement Administration, which began in 2003, included roles as Diversion Investigator, Diversion Group Supervisor, Public Information Officer, and Division Recruiter. She holds a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Minnesota. She is also a certified compliance and ethics professional with a top-secret security clearance obtained after completing the DEA Academy in Quantico. She is a founding executive member of Blend and a major supporter of Angels for Change, a global nonprofit focused on alleviating drug shortages. She is the first and only public information officer diversion investigator that she knows of.
