Her Interview

Ten minutes with Corinne

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my unwavering curiosity, my drive to explore new opportunities, and my deep passion for community involvement. One of my proudest accomplishments was securing a $15 million grant—a pivotal moment in my career. This achievement was the result of developing a comprehensive project concept, designing and creating a compelling project narrative, and clearly demonstrating the economic outcomes and benefit-cost analysis at a national level, which ultimately led to the grant being awarded four times.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to explore every open door, regardless of your educational background. Don’t limit yourself—step through opportunities as they come, and actively seek experiences that challenge you and help you grow.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are service, growth, and community impact. In my role as Professional Development Officer with the Sun Coast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, I am committed to promoting literacy and ensuring children have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.

Outside of work, I prioritize health, exploration, and connection. I enjoy e-biking with my husband, running to stay active, hiking in natural areas, and discovering new places. These activities allow me to recharge while maintaining a balanced, engaged lifestyle.
