About Corinne

Corinne Hendricks is a Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master who began her training in 2019. She has completed multiple levels of training in this healing modality and created her own business to share Reiki with others, including through an online platform that allows her to serve clients worldwide. Hendricks earned her Bachelor's in Health Promotion and Wellness Management from SUNY Oswego and is currently in graduate school for mental health counseling, with an expected completion in early 2029. As a single mother, she balances caring for her son with her professional practice, which includes morning meditations, self-Reiki, and creating content for social media. She attributes her success to a willingness to continue learning and growing, not giving up on creating a good life, and being open to rebuilding as needed. Hendricks values family time, health and wellness, and freedom, and advises women in her industry to maintain strong self-care and spiritual hygiene practices.

Ten minutes with Corinne

01What do you attribute your success to?

Just a willingness to continue learning and growing and to not give up on creating a good life for myself, and now my son. Being willing and open to rebuilding and starting over as many times as needed.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Probably that God uses everything, or Creator uses everything, so your good and bad experiences. Nothing goes to waste. You can always learn something from an experience and take it with you on to the next part of your journey.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

It's important to maintain a good self-care practice, because when you're holding a lot of space for others and working energetically, you want to be sure that you maintain a good spiritual hygiene.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Finding balance as a single mom, doing caring for my son, and teaching him, and helping him learn and grow, and then remembering to do my own practices, and now building this online business and making time to receive clients, hold space for them, creating more, and learning different ways to create a business online. The balance of it all.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family, so just that one-on-one time with my sons, and health and wellness. So just having a healthy, whole, balanced diet, and staying active. And freedom. So creating that lifestyle based around that passion and skills that you have so that you can create a life where you feel comfortable to be able to do the things that you enjoy and spend time with the people that you love.
