Corliss Comeaux

Corliss Comeaux began her professional journey in 1989 as a young single mother, starting with a position in fast food at Captain D Seafood Restaurant. She advanced from there into roles with school districts and then corporate accounts, where she gained experience in food safety and quality assurance. With more than 30 years in the food industry and four years specializing in food safety and quality assurance, she holds one year of college education. In her current role, a typical day involves starting work between 6 and 6:30 AM until 2 or 3 PM, monitoring temperatures for coolers and freezers, setting up lines, ensuring proper sanitation, checking in deliveries, and assisting with expo duties on the line. She volunteers her time with her church helping the homeless and is working to join the NEHA Association while planning future steps toward operating her own ghost kitchen as a meal provider.
