Her Interview

Ten minutes with Corrin

01What do you attribute your success to?

I don't come from a very good childhood. I had addicted parents, I was in foster care. I was also a young teen mom. I had all four of my kids by the time I was 22 years old. In that moment, I made a choice that I was going to break any generational curse that would be passed down to my children, and I was going to give them everything they deserved. My kids were my drive. Their future is why I hammered down and changed the direction of my life.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice for other women in particular is to just never give up, ask questions, stand bold, and be willing to learn. One of my biggest things I do now as a production manager is just looking at people, recognizing potential, and just saying, I see something in you, and let me help you grow. I bring more value when I am bringing somebody up to replace me.
