Her Story
About Courtney
Courtney Anderson is the CEO of a septic services company, where she focuses on implementing systems and developing leadership alongside a strong management team. Her entrepreneurial portfolio extends well beyond septic services. She contributes to HVAC operations in Arizona, manages rental properties and real estate investments in Montana, and runs her own web design and SEO firm, Kindling WD, through which she oversees marketing and media presentation across her ventures. Her decision to pursue entrepreneurship roughly a decade ago has also allowed her to travel with her husband and serve as a role model for her son.
Anderson's entrepreneurial path is grounded in a scientific foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Molecular Bioscience from the University of Montana-Western and pursued graduate coursework in immunology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Her early career included research on Lyme disease vaccine development, genetic and nutritional studies at the University of Florida's Equine Science Center, and volunteer work at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala. She later served as head of QAQC at a manufacturing plant for five and a half years, worked in food science development, and moved into technical sales and research microbiology before fully committing to business ownership.
Beyond her professional work, Anderson is dedicated to giving back. Through Pumps for Patients, she helps provide septic services to families undergoing chemotherapy, easing the financial strain that treatment-related drug damage can place on their systems. She is also a youth leader at Ennis Assembly of God. Guided by faith, curiosity, and the values of trust, honesty, integrity, and accountability, she continues to encourage women to advocate for themselves, keep learning, and build supportive teams.
