About Courtney
Courtney Bradley, RACR, RACL, is Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Strategies at Children’s Health, where she leads enterprise workforce strategies designed to support organizational growth, adaptability, and exceptional patient care. Since joining Children’s Health in 2023, she has focused on talent acquisition, workforce planning, internal mobility, contingent workforce strategy, executive recruitment, organizational design, and HR technology and AI. Her work extends beyond recruitment to building sustainable talent systems, strengthening leadership pipelines, accelerating hiring, and creating meaningful career pathways for employees.
Before joining Children’s Health, Courtney served as Health System Director of Talent Acquisition at MUSC Health and previously held progressively responsible talent acquisition and strategy roles at the Medical University of South Carolina. Earlier in her career, she served as Human Resources Manager at the College of Charleston, where she worked across talent pipelines, community partnerships, workforce programs, and human resources initiatives. Her experience across healthcare, higher education, and workforce development has given her a broad perspective on talent strategy, organizational transformation, leadership succession, and the evolving needs of the workforce.
Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Claflin University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Webster University. She is a graduate of the 2026 Modern CHRO Academy cohort and has also earned a Lean Six Sigma White Belt. Passionate about developing people and strengthening communities, she advocates for career pathways, employee development, and skills-based workforce strategies. Courtney’s leadership philosophy emphasizes thinking enterprise-first, preparing organizations for the future of work, and keeping people and purpose at the center of transformation. She also encourages young women entering the industry to never lose their voice, regardless of the size of the room.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my grandmother, who taught the women in our family the importance of professionalism, poise, and staying true to who we are. Her guidance continues to shape how I approach both my personal and professional life.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to learn how to bring others along on my journey. Success is more meaningful when you build relationships, share opportunities, and grow together with the people around you.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to never lose your voice, no matter how big the room is. Speak with confidence, trust your perspective, and remember that your voice deserves to be heard.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are commitment, community, and including others in my professional journey. I believe in staying dedicated to my goals while creating opportunities to support, connect with, and grow alongside others.
