About Courtney
Courtney Graham serves as Grants Manager for a large dual domestic abuse and sexual assault nonprofit in northern Michigan, where she has worked for the past 10 years. In this role, which she helped develop after starting as administrative support, she manages all grants, including data reporting and compliance management. Courtney earned her bachelor's degree in history from Alma College. She participated in one of the cohorts of Leadership Little Traverse, a 9-month leadership development organization within Emmett County, and holds different DNR certifications for K-12 outdoor education. Courtney is a board member of the Emmett County Historical Commission, a Girl Scout troop leader for six years through Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore, and education chairman for the Market Livestock 4-H Program. Her work is driven by a passion for women's rights and a desire to end violence against women and children, inspired by raising her two young daughters.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I'm really happy that she wants to pursue this field, because it's so necessary to be a voice for these people who do not have one through their survivor journeys.
