About Courtney
I am a real estate leader and designated broker with a passion for compliance, agent development, and operational excellence, currently serving as Director of Designated Brokers at Redfin, a role I have held since May 2026, where I lead a team of designated real estate brokers across the United States, delivering real-time support to agents and managers nationwide with a focus on regulatory and legal compliance, brokerage oversight, and risk mitigation to ensure transactions move smoothly from contract to close. I am licensed in twenty-five states, bringing a multi-market perspective to real estate across Texas, New Mexico, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Washington, South Dakota, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska, Louisiana, Arkansas, Utah, Florida, New Hampshire, Maryland, Maine, Colorado, Delaware, and Idaho.
Prior to this role, I served as Senior Manager of Designated Brokers for over two years, where I continued to lead a team of designated brokers, and as Broker Manager for nearly two years, where I led a team of eight state brokers and oversaw operations across over fourteen states, streamlining and systematizing broker-led contract training and serving as the strategic liaison between Redfin's national strategy teams and on-the-ground brokers. I also served as Team Manager for the Houston office for nearly one year, where I led and coached a team of twelve to eighteen real estate agents, driving performance through tailored coaching strategies, structured training programs, and individualized development plans.
I also serve as Director of King Sovereign Farms, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit I have led since May 2019, dedicated to improving community health through sustainable farming and nutrition education, and previously served as Chief Executive Officer of King Realty and Management Inc. for eleven years, a family-owned residential brokerage where I built a trusted team of certified professionals specializing in comprehensive property management solutions for real estate investors.
Earlier in my career, I served as a Bilingual Teacher at Irving Independent School District for nearly two years and at Richardson Independent School District for nearly one year, where I taught bilingual kindergarten and first grade.
Across my career in real estate brokerage, nonprofit leadership, and education, my work has been driven by a commitment to compliance, agent development, community impact, and helping individuals and families build sustainable futures. Whether I am leading a team of designated brokers, managing a nonprofit farm, or teaching young learners, I bring a strategic, collaborative, and purpose-driven approach that empowers others to succeed. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue advancing brokerage excellence and community impact through my work at Redfin and King Sovereign Farms.
